Our unique mentoring program

Mentoring is a powerful tool that has been proven to enhance career success, boost employee engagement and retention, and open up new opportunities for women in technology. Our mentor(SHE:) program is an initiative designed to connect women with industry-leading professionals through a carefully curated matching process. This unique pairing strategy ensures that every mentee can benefit from a tailored, impactful experience.

Our program timeline

The mentor(SHE:) program runs annually, with registration opening in October and closing in January. The program kicks off in February and concludes at the beginning of December.

2026 Registrations for Women 4 STEM’s leading Mentoring Program, mentor(SHE:) are now open.

How to register for 2026 intake?

Step 1 – Register 

Head to our Registration link: https://events.humanitix.com/register-for-the-mentorshe-2026-program and follow the prompts. 

Note: There’s a mentee registration fee of $249; valid for registrations as a “mentee”, or “mentor AND mentee”. 

Step 2 – Submit your matching info 

Once you’ve registered, you will receive a link to complete your mentoring details. Follow the prompts and submit. These are crucial insights to help us match you as best we can , the more info you provide, the better your match will be. 

Step 3 – Get matched 

mentor(SHE:) commences matching pairs in February 2026, and sends an introduction email to the pairs.


Why do we need mentoring for Women In STEM?

Despite women’s growing involvement in the tech industry, they still represent only 28% of the workforce—significantly lower than in other sectors (44%). This disparity highlights the need for targeted support to enhance the success and retention of women in tech.

Women 4 STEM launched mentor(SHE:) to directly address these challenges. Our program is designed to provide one-on-one mentoring that fosters confidence, enhances networking opportunities, and facilitates professional development specifically tailored for women in tech.
