Senior Program Manager
The Senior Program Manager will provide expert program management and delivery for complex, multi-discipline projects, focusing on implementing warehouse management, automation, and robotics solutions for Toll’s logistics operations. This role involves scoping, design, planning, risk management, implementation, communications, transition, commercial due diligence, and handover to clients and business stakeholders.
Collaborating with Operations, Solutions, and Technology teams, you will support business development by transforming customer requirements into operational solutions. The role includes directing medium to large change projects, managing project planning, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications, while continuously improving project management frameworks and methodologies.
Specialist experience in managing the complexities, risks, and issues of automation and WMS solutions in logistics is essential.
To be successful as Senior Program Manager, you will need to:

  • Lead and manage projects from sales exit to operational handover, ensuring design, service, operational, and profit targets are met.
  • Deliver customer implementations on time, within budget, and to quality standards, managing a project team of work stream leads.
  • Implement automation solutions with best practice design, testing, and commissioning, providing guidance and leadership.
  • Support team culture development and act as a mentor within the Project Delivery group, fostering a high-performing project delivery team.
  • Drive innovation and establish strong relationships with project delivery partners, vendors, and stakeholders, focusing on automation vendors.
  • Ensure operational excellence by managing risks, issues, dependencies, and maintaining quality project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
A degree in IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or Business from a recognised tertiary institution preferred.
PRINCE2/PMP or equivalent – preferred

Experience
Over 10 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain.
More than 5 years of experience in implementing warehouse management, automation, and robotics solutions.
Experience managing large projects ($30m+), ideally across various industries.
Advanced project management skills applied to warehouse and transport technology.
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain systems (WMS, TMS, ERP, BI) and their applications.
